With this assignment, I decided to incorporate my love and admiration for the sky into sort of a project. The sky is my favorite part of the world no matter what time of day and I’m always appreciating it. My favorite time is dusk although I didn’t get a chance to photograph it because I was constantly busy or doing homework. I really love the pinks, purples, and oranges the sky seems to give off at the time because the sun is setting. As you can see a couple of the pictures were taken around the same time frame because its’s when the sky is the most unpredictable.

Even without having to do this assignment, which required taking pictures of nature, I often photograph the sky at random times during the day, Especially when the moon just happens to be bright and full. I wish there would have been more differences between each picture, but the sky that week had been so calm just about every day. The everchanging weather however was another story. My favorite picture is the fourth one in which is the sky looks cloudy with hues of light blue, purple, and pink. It makes me want to drift off into the sky and visit the clouds to get a better view of the world.

My second favorite photo would be the one just above it where there is a huge cloud filled with different tones of blue and purple. It has the same undertones as the photo below it which is why it is the second one I like most. The trees help to add another layer of color and dimension to the picture. It makes me want to jump on an airplane so that I can be up close and personal with it. My third favorite would be the second picture I took in my other room in CHS from the fourth floor. It almost makes you wish you could’ve seen the sunset if it weren’t for that big block of other rooms on the opposite side. I can picture what it would’ve looked like had I been outside that day.

My experience for this was cool and kind of fun seeing as though I usually do this on a regular basis without posting them. I think this is actually something I will think about doing for the future as part of my personal photography projects.
